HWB 002 Summary

Note: The episode is only about 30 minutes long – the rest is just dead space and was my own editing oversight!

In today’s episode of the Health, Wealth & Balance podcast, I interview Malia Scott, co-owner and co-founder of Say Om yoga studio in South Austin, TX.

Malia’s journey started when she fell in love with art in high school. She began pursuing a career in design until her natural drive drove her into the hospital and she decided to reassess what was most important to her. This is when she says yoga saved her life. Malia’s journey continues to unfold to this day as she juggles multiple side-gigs and figures out how to integrate her myriad talents, abilities, strengths and passions. Through all her experiences, Malia has created her own rich formula for work/life balance.

The level of authenticity and vulnerability Malia shares around her own dance between making things happen and letting things go is reassuring to all of those who find themselves up against the internal struggle between pushing forward and allowing life to unfold as it’s meant to be.

This episode is full of inspiration, coaching, and insight for entrepreneurs and anyone who has lots of different interests.

I’ll leave you with this quote from the show: “What you’re doing now is going to go with you on your launchpad to whatever happens next.”
