Have you seen that commercial, at least I think it’s a commercial, where the turkeys get mad at all the Christmas decorations because it seems like everyone keeps forgetting about Thanksgiving?
My mom was visiting last week, which meant lots of shopping, and it’s really hard to see all the Christmas decorations out already. Especially in Tucson, where the daily highs still consistently range from 75-85 and the sun is out Every. Single. Day.
Not that I’m complaining – you just can’t take a girl from Ohio and convince her that Christmas is better in the desert.
All that to say the holiday season is here whether we care to admit it or not.
