I’ll be totally honest with you about today’s episode. Just about a year ago, on July 4th weekend, I was in Portland, OR, for the World Domination Summit. I had the opportunity to sit down and have lunch with a few people, one of whom was Laura, and I was a bit starstruck.
I try to explain to my boyfriend how exciting it is to meet “famous” people and he always rolls his eyes at me. To me, famous people are Laura Roeder, Kathryn Budig, Deepak Chopra — the big names in the small niche audiences I run around in. To me, it’s like meeting Julia Roberts.
After having that first conversation at lunch, she agreed to do a podcast episode with me. As I re-listened to the episode I remembered immediately why this is one of my favorite interviews I’ve ever done.
Laura’s insights are really, really thought provoking, even if she didn’t mean for them to be. What struck me immediately about what Laura shares in today’s episode is how grounded, clear, and strategic she is with every choice she makes. That, and how she’s always looking for the easiest way to success.
Laura is another great example of someone who is spiritually grounded by example. She doesn’t talk about spirituality and it may not even be a part of her life (we’re not besties, so I couldn’t say), but I immediately picked up on her advanced intention and manifestation superpowers.
There are some people who try their hardest to make something work and they toil away at it for years before giving up and trying something else. And then there is Laura, who knew exactly what she wanted, picked a way to get it, did it, and got it. And she’s still going.
There is simplicity in that strategy, and yet simplicity doesn’t always mean it’s easy AND the amount of work it takes to get to simplicity can never be underestimated. Laura talks about this and more in today’s episode.
Laura has built a really impressive online empire and she’s no where near done, with new projects in the works even now. Listen in on the conversation to hear more about finding the easiest way to success.
