Getting out of bed is the hard part, then comes the rest of the day. Luckily I’m kind of a morning person so I can wake up pretty quickly. For those of you who can’t, fit in this short morning practice to get energized.
Practicing yoga in the morning is great for stretching out all your scrunched up muscles that have been lying dormant while you slept. Unless you sleep in a perfect Savasana, it’s unlikely you’re all stretched and ready to go the moment you wake up.
So wake up your body, stretch out your muscles, get your blood flowing and wipe the cobwebs out of your head with a little yoga every morning. Remember, all it takes is 5 minutes!
